busy week comin up...well, busy in my terms neway. haha
work tmr.. piano lesson wed.. wedding rehearsal on thurs..leading worship with bonnie on fri,the actual wedding n banquet sat.. and work,then wendy's bday dinner on sun....

went to mitchell's today n got 2 cds n a book called keeping a princess heart ;p very interesting...a sentence that struck me was "We are most in touch with our deepest desires when we are closest to their fulfillment."...one of the cds i got was if you say go,from vineyard.. really reflective,meditative type songs.. makes u slow down..i really like the 1st one.. invitacion fountain. lyrics sounded like the other one... come to the fountain or somethin? ;p from jmc.. but its diff...

colluni was.. inspiring/encouraging last night...
it was about prayer n confession...
we prayed in small grps..and in my grp we prayed for each person.. i'm sorry.. i haftu apologize to those that were in mine .. cuz i jus wasnt very focussed; i wasn't completely there..
men's or er... mAN's grp made ice cream floats for the fellowship last night and.. it's jus so good to see.. they're really gettin out there n serving others... came across this verse yesterday.. let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.(1 John 3:18) and they are livin that out.. it's so awesome/encouraging. :)

so the weekend ..
lots of fun. many laughs at the stupidest things. sparklers,candles. lots of cheap entertainment..haha the abundance of food,card games,n mosquitoes. saranwrap/tape obstacle course w/gordon the mummy. man. talk about stupidness..ahha tons of that too :P

the place was amazing. it was so much better than i had imagined. everything was provided..all the amenities.. including hair dryer(lol), cooking stuff.. crazy. and it was riGHT by the lake.. oh. the lake. with 3 separate docks of our own. one with the boats, one jus by itself.. and the other with a swinging couch thing n chairs.. it was awesome what can i say?definitely worth the 2.5-3 hrs of driving..
my car went up earlier in the day, and the other car came at night.. so they got lost for a bit... but God definitely answered our prayers for them..
and oh the pranks. *rolling my eyes* saranwrap on our door... gee i could barely tell there was nething there. haha i was too tired to care, jus ripped off the stuff.. but us girls got the boys gOOd... ;) described as "long + red".. hahahha and our failed (but SUCH a good attempt) one where we put some of the boys' stuff in jen's car..
haha and the failed bday surprise for bonnie. haha ;p all good tho.. :) whipped cream cake.. lovely .
and quiet time in the midst of God's creation... awesome. and some time alone with friends.. worshipping God by the lake in the sunset was amazing/beautiful...candlelight dinner with 9 other friends,w/o ne stress/worries...those were the moments.moments i knew God was working in..
i saw a deer run across the road too!!!:D first time...heh

the weekend was ..not what i had expected.. i didn't really kno what to expect actually..but at the end of it all... God had answered the longings in my heart in unexpected ways, but.. isn't God like that..? He always surprises us... jus when we think we finally understand Him/His character... He shows us yet again that we can never fully know His face--until He comes again..

this past weekend has been amazing..it was exactly what i needed..and God definitely provided much in this trip.. my parents let me take the highlander to the cottage (HUGEEEEE feat for them if u kno em) which enabled us to bring all the food + bags comfortably ..
the weather was awesome.. beautiful sunny days and some rain to 'send us off' on sunday when we left..parfait,n'est-ce pas??:)
ahh... so many things that made this weekend what it was...
